2018 Kia Stinger for sale Houston

?Born from the popular GT concept, the first-ever 2018 Kia Stinger is the European-rivaling, gran turismo vehicle Kia fans have been dreaming of for years. The fastback sports sedan will be available at our Houston dealership later this year, but for now, you can get details on this hot new model below.

“Unlike any Kia that has come before it, the Stinger really is a dream car for us…that dream is now a reality after years of commitment and hard work from a passionate group of designers, engineers and executives around the world,” said Orth Hedrick, vice president, product planning, Kia Motors America. “From its GT concept-car origins to the years of tuning and refining on the legendary Nurburgring circuit, no detail was too small to be obsessed over, and the result is simply stunning.”

Head-Turning Design

The Stinger is alive with the spirit of gran turismo, blending together elegance with athleticism to create the perfect car for those who love driving. The sedan’s fastback silhouette is matched with sporty aerodynamic accents like an integrated rear diffuser, front air, wheel arch gills and four oval exhaust pipes, all of which fit perfectly into the body’s understated curves and contours.

Notable Comforts and Conveniences

The 2018 Stinger is lavishly equipped with standard amenities like Nappa leather upholstery, satin chrome trim, hands-free Bluetooth, a wireless phone charging pad, a head-up display and a 7-inch UVO touchscreen, just to name a few. Music fans can also opt for a premium 15-speaker surround sound system with patented music restoration technology and other advanced sound-tuning.

On the safety side, the sport sedan also features some of the latest driver-assist technologies, including Advanced Smart Cruise Control, Driver Attention Alert, Forward Collision Assistance with Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

Performance Features

The Stinger rides on a chassis composed of over 50 percent high-strength steel, which promises ultra-rigid handling. MacPherson front and multi-link rear suspension, Dynamic Stability Damping Control and driver-selectable modes offer a highly responsive ride quality that each driver can adjust to their liking.

The Stinger will debut with two engine options, both coming paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission with a choice of rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. The first is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder Theta II rated at 255 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.

Those craving a little more kick may fare better with the 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 Lamba II, which boosts output to 365 hp and 376 lb-ft of torque. According to some Stinger reviews, this configuration can hit 0-62 mph in a mind-blowing 4.9 seconds.
