A trade-in simply means determining the value of the car you currently drive and applying that money towards reducing the cost of a new car. An added advantage is that if you have taken out a lease or loan for the car you currently drive, you don't have to have paid it off in full to do a trade-in. Sometimes, the value of the trade-in is enough to finish paying off the lease or loan for your existing car. However, if the value of the trade-in doesn't cover the lease or loan payment, you can apply the money that you get for your trade-in towards the loan and finish paying off the loan as you normally would. And having an existing loan does not preclude you from taking out a new loan, either.
This all sounds good, you might be thinking, but it's probably complicated! Fortunately, that couldn't be further from the truth. Here, it is a three-step process that involves first getting a quote to find your car's current value, then telling us what car you'd like to drive home with, and finally closing the deal.
After deciding to do a trade-in, you'll then need to figure out how much your car is worth. Again, this is a process that's very easy to do at our dealership. Valuing a car takes into account many factors, including the car's age, condition, mileage, trim, model, and any features or packages you might have added on. Since estimates are based on so many variables, try to be as specific as possible when putting in your car's information.
