When you buy a new car, you want some assurance that it will last for a long time. Kia equips its vehicles with standard factory warranties to provide you with confidence and customer satisfaction when you purchase one of its new cars. Kia's warranties include emissions control, anti-perforation, powertrain protection, and more. If a standard warranty doesn't cover your vehicle, or if you want more coverage, you can opt for an additional MPP plan, too.

New Vehicle Limited Warranty

The New Vehicle Limited Warranty for your Kia includes coverage for up to 60 months or 60,000 miles. The New Vehicle Limited Warranty covers exterior parts on your Kia and mechanical components, and some interior amenities. Paint damage is included, along with the battery, audio system, and other significant components.

Power Train Warranty

For the first 60 months or 60,000 miles (or 120 months or 100,000 miles with the original owner), the Power Train Warranty covers the engine, axles, and transaxle in your Kia. The warranty includes their related parts, including the CV joints, axle shafts, oil pump, turbocharger, bearings, gaskets, and seals. The transmission, propeller shafts, and differentials are also included.

Anti-Perforation Limited Warranty

The Anti-Perforation Limited Warranty provides coverage to repair or replace any body sheet metal panels of your Kia if damaged by corrosion during normal use. Replacements will be made provided damage occurs to factory installed components during the first 60 months or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Emission Control Warranty

Kia also has emissions warranties for new cars. This coverage is valid for the first 2 years or 24,000 miles of ownership, whichever comes first. In addition, certain emissions components are covered for 96 months or 80,000 miles. Check with us for more details.

Replacement Parts and Accessories Warranty

Along with the factory warranties above, Kia will cover the cost of replacing additional manufacturer-installed components and accessories that wear out within one year or 12,000 miles if the parts break due to normal wear or if they are defective.

MPP Plans

In addition to all of the comprehensive factory warranties that Kia provides for its new vehicles, Joe Myers Kia also offers protection plans for extra coverage. These supplemental plans, called MPP plans, include lease wear coverage, GAP coverage, extended service contracts, and protection for older Kia models.
