The Seltos is an all-new SUV from Kia in 2021. The Seltos belongs to the class of small crossover SUVs. It has a generous amount of space in the cabin and cargo areas for a car of its size. It also has a functional and aesthetically pleasing exterior with two-tone color schemes for the top trims and an innovative headlight design that makes it stand apart from other cars in its class. There are two engines offered for the Seltos this year, including the LX and the SX Turbo, which is one of the two trims' main distinguishing characteristics. The SX, which tops the line, also includes more standard amenities.
Performance
The LX and the SX Turbo in the Kia Seltos lineup have various engines. With the LX, you will get a four-cylinder engine with 146 HP in power output. This trim's engine is matched to an automatic transmission, and it comes with all-wheel drive standard. The SX Turbo has a more performance-oriented engine instead. With the SX Turbo, you'll upgrade to a turbocharged engine with a power capacity of 175 HP. This trim's engine also comes with an automatic transmission that has seven speeds. However, you'll get a dual-clutch transmission that lets you control the gearing with your steering wheel for a more exhilarating driving experience.
Appearance
Both the LX and the SX turbo have unique exterior characteristics. The LX has 17-inch wheels. It also has tinted glass in the back for privacy and to block excess sunlight. Heated mirrors are standard on the SX Turbo. It also upgrades to 18-inch wheels. There are more unique exterior paint colors available with this trim, including getting a two-tone roof. A sunroof is offered on the SX Turbo. It also has LED headlights and LED fog lights.
Features
The LX comes with a host of features designed to keep you entertained and connected on the road. To start with, in the LX, you and your passengers can look forward to technology in the form of an eight-inch display with a highly visible and responsive screen. The infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The SX Turbo upgrades to a 10.25-inch display screen with navigation. It also has a Bose sound system and gets leather seats rather than cloth. There are USB ports in front and back with the SX, and it includes wireless device charging.
