The 2023 Kia has updated the Rio with a new oil-level sensor. When the oil needs to be topped off, this convenient feature triggers a warning light. The 2023 Rio is available as either a four-door sedan or five-door hatchback and offers simple transportation while delivering impressive city and highway fuel efficiency.
2023 Rio Trims & Features
The 2023 Kia Rio is offered in two trim levels: LX and S. The affordable LX trim model comes loaded with popular equipment. Kia's modern infotainment unit features an 8.0-inch touchscreen display, which can be wirelessly linked to your smartphone through either Apple Carplay or Android Auto. Bluetooth® wireless technology with audio streaming is also built into the system. Other standard features include heated side mirrors, a USB port, and a backup camera.
If you desire more conveniences, step up to the S trim. It adds remote keyless entry, cruise control, and 60/40 split-folding rear seats. An optional Technology package further upgrades the Rio S. The S trim level has an optional infotainment system that adds Kia's UVO telematics system and SiriusXM satellite radio. While stylish 15-inch alloy wheels bolster the car's curb appeal, LED headlights with LED positioning lights improve visibility at night. Automatic climate control elevates comfort. Satellite radio, a Smart Key with push-button start, and additional safety technologies are included as well.
How Much Horsepower Does the 2023 Rio Have?
The Rio is motivated by an economical 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engine. Kia rates it to press out a competitive 120 horsepower and 112 lb-ft of torque. Performance and fuel efficiency are enhanced by an automatic Intelligent Variable Transmission. The 2023 Rio does a good job of controlling body roll in corners and the steering is nicely weighted and precise.
What Safety Features Does the 2023 Rio Have?
Many smart and safety technologies are available on the 2023 Kia Rio. Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection can automatically engage the brakes during emergencies.
