What's New for the 2022 Kia EV6?

The EV6 is an all-new, all-electric crossover that brings Kia to the forefront of the electrification movement. Kia has built the EV6 from the ground up to bring a good balance of performance and range, making the EV6 an excellent daily driver.

2022 EV6 Features

The EV-6 is brimming with the latest tech features, and the cabin makes this incredibly apparent. The EV-6 interior features a clean, minimalist design that you would expect to find in a luxury vehicle. The two large curved displays are the center of attention in the cabin and add to Kia's modern appeal. The EV-6 features a multi-charging system that allows it to be compatible with both 400v and 800v DC fast charging. This means it can charge up to 210 miles of range in under 20 minutes.

2022 Kia EV6 Power Output

You can get the EV6 with either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The rear-wheel drive models only have one motor and make a bit less power. The all-wheel drive models are expected to be able to get from 0-60 in around 5 seconds due to 320 hp and 446 lb-ft of torque produced by the dual motors. Both EV6 powertrains will provide you with the instant acceleration that electric vehicles are known for. As far as range goes, the dual-motor EV-6 will get around 300 miles per charge, while the single-motor can be equipped with either a short-range or long-range battery pack. Kia has also announced a EV6 GT model coming later in 2022 that is reported 577 horsepower and 546 lb-ft of torque!

Kia is putting their best foot forward with the safety features found in the EV6. It has an all-new augmented reality head-up display that can display most of the vehicle's vital information. This helps to keep your eyes on the road while also keeping you connected with the vehicle. When you turn on the turn signals in the EV6, the blind-spot view monitor is enabled, and you are presented with a live feed of your blind spot in the digital dash. This helps to make lane-changing as safe and easy as possible. Another safety feature that adds to the convenience of the EV-6 is the Remote Start Parking Assist. RSPA allows you to control and park your vehicle with buttons found on the key fob.
