What Services Does Your Maintenance Department Cover?

At Joe Myers Kia, we provide a wide range of services at our maintenance department. One of our goals is to help customers understand the importance of getting important routine maintenance. We offer oil changes, tire rotations, completing your multi-point inspection process, and topping off your fluids. Do You Sell Tires?

We sell a large variety of high-quality tires at our Houston location. Look out for our frequent specials. If you’re in the market for new tires but need to stay on a budget, let us know. We’ll work with you to get your vehicle road-ready while helping you maintain your budget.

When Should I Replace My Tires?

Tires need to be replaced when there's low tread, which is typically less than 2/32” of depth. Feel free to stop by our dealership and we’ll show you the inspection process, so you can do these checks on your own. We’ll teach you all about the cracking and bulging that you should look out for on your tires. Here's a tip on how you can check your tire tread. Use the penny test as general guide (if Abe Lincoln head and hair are fully visible then we'd recommend to replace tires).

How Often Does Kia Recommend an Oil Change?

An oil change should be done every 5,000 to 10,00 miles driven or every six months. This includes a replacement of your oil filter as well. This is to protect your engine and keep your vehicle running efficiently and prevent future expensive repairs. Make sure to refer to your owner’s manual or contact us for specifics to your car.

Do I Have to Pay For a Recall?

Generally, No. The manufacturer is responsible for covering the costs of a recall. Although Kia strives to build vehicles that are reliable and efficient. Every so often, there will be a design flaw that requires the issuance of a manufacturer recall. When this happens, we ask that you bring your vehicle into our maintenance center sooner than later. You won’t be required to pay anything for the labor or required parts.

Do I Need an Appointment, or Can I Just Show Up?

Although we are flexible, we encourage you to make an appointment so we can keep all of our clients moving in and out of the dealership at an efficient pace. If you need service immediately and are in the area, you may come in anytime. We're open from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM Monday through Friday. On Saturday, you'll find us open from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Sorry, but we're closed on Sunday. Feel free to contact us if you're still unsure about our open hours.
